Linux: connect with Happ

The official Happ client is available for Linux. Get the subscription in the cabinet, install the package for your distro and import the link. Service protocols: VLESS / GRPC / REALITY / TCP.

Installation

Ubuntu / Debian

Download the .deb from GitHub Happ Desktop and install it:

sudo apt install ./Happ.linux.x64.deb

Fedora / RHEL

The .rpm package from the same releases page:

sudo dnf install ./Happ.linux.x64.rpm

Arch Linux

A .pkg.tar.zst package or an AUR build of happ-desktop.

sudo pacman -U Happ.linux.x64.pkg.tar.zst

There are x64 and arm64 builds. Latest files: Happ Desktop Releases and happ.su.

Import and start

1. Link from the cabinet

Open the cabinet or Telegram Web App and copy the subscription link. Do not edit the UUID or server manually - the profile is already built for vibe.VPN.

2. Add it to Happ

Paste the link into Happ as a subscription. Refresh the server list and choose Fastest or the location you need.

3. Connect

Turn the connection on and check YouTube or a website. If TUN does not start, you need access to /dev/net/tun and rights to create a network interface.

If it does not connect

  • System date and time
  • Another server or the Fastest profile
  • The firewall is not blocking the client
  • The subscription was copied in full

If Happ is not a fit, you can use a GUI with VLESS and subscription support, for example Hiddify. Still take the link from the vibe.VPN cabinet.

No. Happ already includes the required core. You only need the package for your distro and the link from the cabinet.

Yes, but it is harder: you have to build the config yourself. For a regular connection, Happ is enough.

Yes. A plan includes up to 20 devices at once, and Linux is part of that limit.
